Seth brakes for powder turns. Slashing through the April pow on Mt. Catherine is hard to beat
A fresh snowfall is always reason to rally the troops and head for the mountains. This year's winter had been a lean one, and Seth, Holly, Kevin and Crispin were eager to ski some fresh. We met up at Hyak and headed over the hill toward Mt. Catherine. We found what we were looking for, a foot or more of day-old powder over a firm base, a little thick up above but pure pleasure in the trees. Spring is nice!
